Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.55% to Rs 2000.75 after the company's net profit grew slightly 6.87% to Rs 2910.8 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 4.28% to Rs 15183.55 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Pharmaceuticals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 23.86 lakh crore, easing 5.84%. It has marginally improved by 2.27% over last one week and jumped by 15.01% in last one month while the market capitalization of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has inched up 3.08% and 10.65% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd stood at Rs 4098.81 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 29.19% year-on-year, and jumping 15.42% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3694 crore, declining 3.73% YoY and rising 5.67% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 1.64% to Rs 11620.93 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2026.28 crore, slightly declining by 7.16% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 3227.23 crore, improving by 9.01% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 11.87% to Rs 58220.11 crore, while net profit saw a mild growth of 5.32% to Rs 11564.52 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 1366811% to Rs 15759.68 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 9.94% to Rs 15118.88 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 12419.18 crore in FY26, as against Rs 14072.09 crore in FY25. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd jumped 15.32% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 4.36% during the same period.
